Multi-Day Full Service Llama Pack Trips

These twelve 3-5 day trips encompass four wilderness areas and a National Recreational Trail system along with trips on the Colorado Trail and the Continental Divide Trail. Our season runs from July through the middle of September. We provide the llamas, panniers, guides, food and tents.

A llama’s gentle and curious nature makes them a perfect companion for children and adults alike. Base camp trips with layover days are ideal for families to settle in and take day hikes without moving camp.

Guests bring only their personal gear, sleeping bags and pads. Our diverse menu has been developed over time with an emphasis on what we call backcountry gourmet. While the llamas carry all gear except for daypacks, hikes require guests to be in relatively good physical condition and some [indicated “strenuous”] are better suited for those used to regular exercise.

We also offer custom trips for 6-10 people. These trips are well suited to groups, families and/or anglers. Learn more about our custom group trips.
